iPod Clone Invented In 1979?
Before you roll your eyes, consider the images seen in this recent Gizmodo article . iTunes 8.2.1 Stops Palm Pre From Syncing
Apple must have felt the threat coming from Pal Pre, since they’ve launched iTunes 8.2.1, a version that breaks the Palm Pre syncing. This is a big blow for Pre users, who are advised not to update to the latest iTunes, at least not till Palm solves the issue and releases a firmware update for it. Palm announced officially that people might consider staying with the previous iTunes version, or transferring music via USB, or even opting for other third party apps. Apple was quite tough on

Apple updated iTunes on July 15, and the newest version prevents the Palm Pre from syncing with its proprietary music app. A Palm spokeswoman reportedly called the move a “direct blow to their users.” Is Apple playing the game it learned from Microsoft? - The Palm Pres ability to sync with Apples iTunes is no more. On Wednesday, July 15, Apple updated iTunes and put a stop to this capability. According to the Associated Press, Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr said the iTunes update “disables
